Property Meld partners with PURE to improve property maintenance management

Property Meld, a residential property maintenance software, today announced partnering with PURE Property Management to improve tenant maintenance communications, according to a press release.

The company says the partnership will integration Property Meld’s automated maintenance software into PURE’s property management workflow, and enable streamlined communication loops between residents and vendors in order to improve speed and response of requests.

“The number one reason a tenant leaves a property is that they are dissatisfied with the maintenance experience. Property Meld’s technology will make it easier for PURE’s residents to report problems and speedier for our property managers to connect them with vendors, resulting in a quicker resolution,” stated Eric Wetherington, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives of PURE Property Management, in the release.

“”When maintenance requests are resolved with a timely response, residents tend to stay in their home longer and pay rent more consistently, resulting in lower vacancy rates and greatly increasing investor ROI,” Wetherington said.

PURE says as a result, the Property Meld platform will be integrated and deployed across the over 15,000 properties under its management. Through its management services and acquisition-based approach, PURE has been experiencing a large growth period and is on track to be one of the larger property management firms in the US.

The management firm also recently raised $50 million in financing for its residential and property management consolidation firm via growth equity firm Level Equity. The company now has acquired, and oversees companies, in over 13 states.

PURE also recently joined FinLedger for its Property Management Mini-Con, with co-founder and General Partner Joseph Polverari speaking on the panel about ways that property management firms can adapt to changes in resident lifestyles and living trends. You can find that event here.

Founded in 2014 by CEO Ray Hespen, Property Meld has raised $330,000 across two seeds rounds in 2014 and 2017.

“PURE’s vision to continue to drive a better rental experience with greater returns is something we feel very strongly about. We are very excited to partner and help them execute this vision in the property management industry,” stated Hespen in the release.

In other recent proptech news, Parvis raised $2.6 million for its blockchain-based real estate investment platform. Foxen also raised $44 million for its real estate fintech solutions.
