Brivo, a global leader in cloud-based access control and smart building technology, has partnered with entryway proptech Invictus to offer an all-in-one service integration for keyless entry, according to a press release.
The integration will enable community members to access apartments, common spaces and book amenities through their mobile devices, instead of a key or fob.
Invictus says that this integration will minimize property manager workloads, streamline visitor check-ins and offer an intuitive portal for managing resident communication.
“Physical hardware like keys or fobs are a burden for today’s renter and adds cost and administrative work for property managers. The Brivo and Invictus integration offers better access, communication, and experiences to attract residents and build a vibrant community,” Invictus founder and CEO Kevin DeMattio stated in the release.
As opposed to using multiple tools for building operations and resident relations, the partnership will offer all these services in a single property management platform.
The release also notes the application can be used to facilitate self-guided tours for prospective renters.
“Smart building technology is becoming a necessity rather than an amenity, so we’re ecstatic about working with a leading proptech company like Brivo to give students and residents a modern rental experience,” DeMattio said.
By logging in to the Invictus resident portal with their Brivo credentials, tenants can also handle apartment lockouts and visitor check-ins.
The API integration will also utilize Brivo’s cloud-based access control solution, allowing residents to move throughout community locations safely and easily. The API also enables property managers to create and manage Invictus and Brivo resident data and permissions through the interface.
