PetScreening, a pet policy management and validation platform, today announced integrating with property management firm ResMan, according to a press release.
ResMan is a property management and software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider that focuses on the multifamily and affordable housing segments, offering marketing, leasing, operations technology through its platform.
Through the partnership integration, PetScreening’s free processing services will be added to Resman’s platform, with the company saying it will help clients’ expand their customer and applicant pool while also increasing compliance from their residents.
The integration is also intended to meet a surge in the demand for pet-friendly apartments, and associated needs for onsite pet processing, according to Elizabeth Francisco, chief engagement officer for Inhabit IQ (parent company of ResMan).
“From accurately tracking pet populations to managing accommodation animal requests, these tasks can be burdensome and time-consuming for onsite associates,” Francisco stated in the release. “We’re excited for our customers to have access to PetScreening’s wide range of services because the solution offers the most pet-friendly, pet-responsible environment on the market and alleviates the load for property teams.”
The PetScreening platform operates on the basis of information rental applicants provide about their pets, including their breed, weight and age, the release says. Each pet assessment is done at an individual level, which enables properties to avoid animal-related housing restrictions and shift toward alternative policies that incline toward pet-loving residents.
