Tour24, a platform which provides interactive and audio/visual apartment tours, today announced being selected by Landmark Properties as its exclusive self-guided tour provider, according to a press release.
Landmark is a real estate firm working in the student housing sector, currently operates in the development, construction, acquisition and management of residential spaces and manages a portfolio spanning across 90 residential communities and 57,000 beds.
The firm says it selected Tour24 to meet up record demand for college and university students’ housing in 2022, with the apartment tour proptech claiming 62% of its self-guided tours are scheduled the same day as they are booked. It adds that of these tours, 24% start within 15 minutes of the booking.
“We are committed to offering flexible tour experience options to our future residents and the Tour24 platform allows us to leverage technology to supplement our in-person tour efforts during business hours and flexibility to offer more after-hours tours across the portfolio,” said Landmark executive vice president of marketing and management services, Rob Dinwiddie, in the release.
Both the companies align in their aim to provide the “must-have” option of self-guided tours for renters today, according to Georgianna W. Oliver, CEO of Tour24.
“This fall is going to be very different compared to what we saw over the last few years because of the pandemic, and demand for quality housing is soaring,” she stated in the release. “Property managers and leasing agents are facing a lot of pressure, and we are looking forward to helping Landmark eliminate barriers to filling units quickly and efficiently.”
In other recent proptech news, AppFolio and the National Apartment Association (NAA) released its 2022 Property Management Industry Pulse research report. HOVER also expanded its services to include blueprint uploads.
