Inhabit IQ appoints new supervisors for its vacation division

The new leaders will collaborate to further develop and accelerate the company's vacation rental strategy.

Inhabit IQ, a software proptech serving vacation rental properties, today announced appointing travel industry exec Donna Goudie as Managing Director of its Vacation division and RentalGuardian CEO Brady Stump as Direction of Vacation Rental Strategy, according to a press release.

Goudie, who has more than 20 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, will be responsible for “strategic initiatives and client advocacy programs” to help develop and accelerate Inhabit’s vacation rental technology. Goudie most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Cendyn, and previously held leadership positions for almost 20 years at Amadeus.

Operating as a collective of proptech companies serving the vacation, residential and commercial rental management industries, companies operating under its umbrella include Streamline, LiveRez, Virtual Resort Manager (VRM), Bluetent, Q4 Launch, Lynnbrook, Rental Guardian, LSI Tools and Bizcor.

“It’s an exciting time to join a thriving company like Inhabit, especially with the current post-pandemic travel resurgence,” stated Goudie in the release. “Inhabit’s Vacation division arms short-term rental companies with software solutions to help them manage all aspects of their business and achieve greater success.”

On the other hand, Stump’s 12-year long professional career as the CEO of RentalGuardian will continue simultaneously with his responsibilities at Inhabit. He is expected to help shape Inhabit’s vacation rental strategy, and says the industry is an integral part of a “healthy economy.”

“More travel means busier, growing vacation rental businesses, and our mission is to use our technology to help those companies scale and succeed,” said Stump in the release.
The release also says Goudie and Stump will coordinate with Scott Leggat, the director of Government Affairs, to support professionals in the vacation rental space.

“We’ll lean on their insights and expertise as we continue to develop innovative, best-in-class products and programs for our vacation rental clients,” stated Lisa Stinnett, CEO of Inhabit IQ, in the press release.

Inhabit IQ currently partners with private equity firms including Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Insight Partners, Greater Sum Ventures and PSG, who also act as investors in the company. The company raised a “significant investment” from the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division in late 2020, according to VRM Intel.

In other recent proptech news, RangeWater announced its plans of developing 155 new housing rentals. Home inspection startup PunchListUSA also raised a $39 million Series A.
