Zego, a proptech company that helps operators modernize resident experiences and boost retention, announced partnering with housing tech service platform 365 Connect to deliver a property marketing and resident retention solution for the multifamily housing industry, according to a press release.
The partnership intends to help property managers who are not satisfied with existing out-of-the-box prospect solutions and to assist multifamily owners find and convert resident prospects. The offering will provide prospective tenants a streamlined experience, from application to residency, and provide property owners simplified operation capabilities, according to the release.
“Together, Zego and 365 Connect create a unique and seamless prospect-to-resident experience that not only helps communities stand out from their competition with highly advanced prospect engagement tools, but also simplifies leasing and community operations in the process,” stated Stephen Baker, Zego President and General Manager, in the release.
“Through this strategic partnership, property owners and managers will be able to better attract and convert qualified renters and deliver the ultimate resident experience,” Baker said.
Baker was recently named as Zego president and general manager, following time as the company’s chief product officer. At that time, Baker stated a long-term goal of expanding Zego’s resident experience portfolio, casting motive behind this new partnership.
The release states that, in particular, the partnership will enable property managers to attract qualified renters through ADA-certified, SEO-optimized and ILS-syndication-enabled websites. It will also help them convert new residents with chatbots, 3D apartment tours and integrated leasing and payment digital applications.
After that, incoming residents are provided with a guided move-in experience, which includes a “Prepare Checklist,” a “Digital Walk Through” and a comprehensive app that enables tenants to pay rent, manage maintenance requests and renew their lease.
“Being able to effectively market a property, quickly convert leads, and ensure critical resident touch points are handled smoothly is crucial for success,” stated Mark Peters, Zego’s vice president of strategic partnerships and finance, in the release.
“For operators who are overburdened and want to improve their property marketing or resident satisfaction, our partnership will connect the dots and help them go above and beyond,” Peters said.
